GROUPGRAB SHOPPING GUIDE

How to compare deals and save money

A good deal starts with the right product, the quantity you actually need and a complete price you can compare. A lower advertised price alone does not tell the whole story.

What is a unit price?

A unit price tells you what one comparable item or measure costs. Divide the package price by the number of items, ounces, sheets or other relevant units. Use the same measure for both products.

Unit price = package price ÷ comparable units in the package.

For example, a $12 pack of 20 batteries has a merchandise unit price of $0.60 per battery. A $4 pack of four costs $1 per battery. These are calculation examples; shipping, fees, tax and exact battery specifications still affect which purchase is better.

For a monitor or basketball, compare the price per item and the exact model. For multi-packs, compare both the bundle price and the contents. Buying more saves money only if you need and can use the extra quantity.

Unit price calculator: compare two deals

Enter each complete order total in US dollars, including shipping, fees and tax when known. Use the same unit for both offers, such as batteries, balls or ounces.

Offer A
Offer B

Enter a nonnegative total and a quantity greater than zero for both offers to compare.

The calculation uses your inputs. Unknown delivery costs, different models and unused extra quantities can change which deal makes sense.

How do I find the lowest total price?

Compare the total you will pay for the same quantity: merchandise plus shipping and handling, service fees and applicable tax. Apply only discounts you qualify for. If one seller's shipping is still unknown, the comparison is incomplete.

Delivered cost per item = complete order total ÷ number of items.

Example: a $10 item with $8 delivery costs $18 before other fees and tax. A $14 item with $2 delivery costs $16 on the same basis. The lower headline price is not the lower delivered cost.

GroupGrab keeps verified merchandise tiers tied to documented acquisition costs and shows the GroupGrab service fee separately. That makes the total easier to compare without hiding a merchandise markup in the displayed group price. GroupGrab shows the complete maximum total before a paid commitment. Preview prices and unquoted delivery costs are estimates, not final savings claims. See our shipping information and refund policy.

Compare the exact product before calling it a bargain

Match brand, model, size, included items, condition and warranty. A refurbished item, smaller pack or different model can explain a lower price. Compare basketball size and intended surface, monitor model and included accessories, or battery chemistry and pack count.

Look for the product identifier and exact unit definition on the listing. Verified outside price references help with comparison, but another seller may still have a lower price. GroupGrab does not promise the lowest price everywhere.

Can I get a group deal without buying in bulk?

Yes. With GroupGrab, you choose your own quantity and other shoppers choose theirs. The combined orders work toward the offer's qualifying group quantity. Lower price tiers apply only when the deal has verified tiers and meets its stated terms.

You do not need to buy a case or pallet yourself. Each offer explains its quantity threshold, timing and fulfillment terms. A price target or preview is not an open purchase offer. Learn what GroupGrab is and how buying together works or get help before you commit.
